What’s a PUPPET JAM?
Much like a music or improv jam, a puppet jam is a nurturing place for people of varying skills levels to collaborate and learn from one another. Unlike poetry slams, jams are non-competitive.
What’s the format?
Each Atlanta Puppet Jam will start with an hour half-ish of large group warm ups (and puppetry basics/refreshers).
Then, depending on size, we’ll split into smaller groups for improv prompts and games.
Fun. Encouraging. Welcoming!
What do I bring?
Bring yourself and be ready to move! Puppets not required, but feel free to bring puppets you’re interested in using or show.
How much?
Atlanta Puppet Jams are free, but it does take effort and resources to make these happen. We recommend a donation of $5 (please and thank you).
